What To See
There are endless fun things to do while visiting the Twin Cities. Here are a few of our favorites:
- Minnesota Landscape Arboretum – More than 1,200 acres of gardens and tree collections, prairie and woods, and miles of trails. Tour the Arboretum on 12.5 miles of garden paths and hiking trails. Walk the close-in gardens and walk or drive Three-Mile Drive to see more gardens and collections.
- Minnehaha Falls – Enjoy the view of the falls, then follow Minnehaha Creek down to the Mississippi River.
- Chain of Lakes – Minneapolis is known as the City of Lakes, so be sure to check one of them out during your visit. You can explore on foot, or rent a bike, canoe, or kayak for even more fun.
- Mississippi River – Check out Stone Arch Bridge or take a stroll along the river starting at East River Flats Park and heading to the southeast.
- First Avenue and Palace Theatre – Catch a show at two of Minnesota’s best music venues.
- Sports – Catch a game, we’ve got the Gophers, Vikings, Wild, Twins, and Timberwolves all based here in the Twin Cities.
- Delicious food – Have a meal at the Birchwood Cafe,
Hi-Lo Diner, or Pizza Luce. Then finish off with dessert at Izzy’s Ice Cream.
